These individuals often take advantage of hotels, tours, and other travel services to get close to young people while trying to stay unnoticed. In Peru, this kind of behavior is a serious crime and can lead to jail time.

What can we do to stop this from spreading?

Always show a strong stance against child sexual exploitation (CSE) and remind others that it carries a prison sentence.

Report any case of CSE immediately to the Public Prosecutor’s Office or the National Police.
